In partnership with A2 Breakdance, this class welcomes students of all ages and skill levels to explore the art of breakdance in a supportive, high-energy environment. Guided by their motto, “Life is a dance,” instructors inspire participants to embrace life’s rhythms while building strength, coordination, and self-expression. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, join us for a fun, empowering journey through the world of breakdance.

During the noncompetitive off-season, students will be provided resources to continue growing in JAVA and/or block coding, mechanical robot building, and Onshape CAD skill development at their own pace. New students will begin their introduction to JAVA block coding and other skills to build a solid base in preparation for next fall’s fast-moving FIRST® Tech Challenge competition season. Highly recommend students bring their own tablet or laptop for optimal learning.

During the noncompetitive off-season, students will spend the springtime learning SPIKE Prime programming at a relaxed pace. Students can continue solving current missions, make their own missions, and explore new attachments and designs for the Spike Prime robot. New students will begin their introduction to Spike Prime programming to build a solid base in preparation for next fall’s fast-moving FIRST® LEGO® League competition season.

In this class, students will journey through art history by examining how artists have responded to periods of war, conflict, and social unrest. We’ll explore how color, technique, symbolism, and style shift during turbulent times—and what these choices reveal about the people who created the work. Students will study significant artworks, discuss artistic choices within their historical context, and then apply these ideas to their own creative projects. Through hands-on activities and guided analysis, students will deepen both their artistic skills and their understanding of how art reflects and reacts to the world around it.

EXCEL Learning Community partners with Champions Gymnastics to bring you a fast-paced, high-energy NINJA program that combines gymnastics, obstacle training, and the excitement of parkour! Inspired by the thrill of American Ninja Warrior, this class challenges students to climb, swing, jump, and flip their way to strength, agility, and self-confidence.

Led by Champion Gymnastics‘ highly trained Master Ninjas, students progress through skill-building challenges designed to improve coordination, endurance, and problem-solving—all while having a blast. Whether your child is brand new or a seasoned ninja, this program offers the perfect mix of fun, fitness, and fearless adventure.

EXCEL Learning Community is excited to partner with Champions Gymnastics to offer a fun, skill-building gymnastics class for boys and girls ages 7 and up. Students will progress through cartwheels, bridges, backbends, handstands, and more—always with an emphasis on safety and fun.

With the help of Champions Gymnastics‘ TumblTrak, rope climbs, and rock wall, students gain strength, coordination, and confidence while enjoying the challenge of learning new skills.
